Early life and education

Being born in the great city of New York, Courtney has always been into acting. She has a younger sister which is also an actress and they shared that passion while growing up. Her parents have always been supportive and thus she found no obstacles to the path of a successful actress. This was also complemented by her incredibly sexy and stylish appeal which definitely helped her with landing roles.

She graduated Skidmore College. Interestingly enough she majored in Abnormal psychology which is rather unusual for a growing actress. She had already begun her unprofessional career as she and her sister were both child actresses. Nevertheless, she got her minor in acting and her career kicked off. However, her achievements don’t seize to impress her fans as she is also the owner of her own line of jewelry by the name of Charmed Jewelry.

Professional Career

The role that got her most fame was Jonathan Taylor Thomas’s girlfriend on the screen set of the popular American sitcom Home Improvement. The show was on the air for 9 years through the 1990s and at some point it was one of the most watched sitcoms in America. She also did three entire seasons on the TV series called Boston Public. At the same time she has appeared on a variety of different TV shows such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Nash Bridges, Renegade, Entourage and many more to list.

Her professional career doesn’t end with TV shows however. She also got a few impressive roles on some hit movies such as Angel Heart. She played alongside Hollywood incredible superstars Robert De Niro and Mickey Rourke. She also got a role on Out on a Limb starring Matthew Broderick.

She also appeared on the stage of Broadway when she was only 8 years old. She played Tootie in the show called Meet Me in St. Louis.

Back in 1994 Courtney won the Best Youth Actress Guest Starring in a Television Show award. She was also nominated for a variety of different awards throughout her career such as best Performance in a TV Comedy, best Performance by a Young Actress and many, many more.

Personal Life

It’s no secret that Peldon’s got quite a hot appeal. Back in 2010 she married her long term boyfriend Bradley Lieberman. However, they divorced quiet soon – only 4 years into their marriage, they got separated in 2014. There is no publically disclosed information regarding her current marital status but she is considered to be single. She also doesn’t have any children or at least there is no information about it.  It’s safe to say that her personal life isn’t as successful as her professional.
