Lambert spent parts of his childhood living in Taiwan, Texas, and England, though he spent most of his formative years in Georgia. He was homeschooled during his early education, which allowed him the flexibility to pursue his interests in performing arts.
Lambert is musically inclined and proficient in piano and trumpet. He is currently learning to play the electric guitar. He also possesses a distinctive tenor singing voice. His interest in acting began at an early age; he made his stage debut at three years old in a local production of The Wizard of Oz. As a child, he continued to perform in theater productions such as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, A Little Princess, and The Jungle Book.
David Lambert's professional acting career began after being discovered by talent agent Joy Pervis in Atlanta.
