Hannah Simone is a Canadian television host, actress, and former fashion model. She is best known for her role as Cece Parekh on the Fox comedy series New Girl. Prior to her acting career, she had a successful run as a video jockey (VJ) on Canada’s MuchMusic.
Born on August 3, 1980, in London, England, Hannah Simone grew up in Calgary, Alberta, before moving with her family to Cyprus, where she began working as a fashion model and appeared in local publications. Her father is of Indian descent, while her mother has a mixed heritage that includes German, Greek Cypriot, and Italian roots. She spent part of her youth in New Delhi, India, and eventually settled in Canada.
