Career

He started by performing stand-up comedy. He has had several roles in movie series “Everybody hates Chris”. Smoove acted in movies: With or without you, Pootie tang, date night, hall pass, the sitter, we brought a zoo, the dictator, a haunted house and clear history. In 2008 he was judge in episodes of “The gong show with Dave”. He aso hosted the stand-up comedy series “Russel Simmons presents stand-up at the El Ret on Comedy Cehtral.

Personal Life

Jerry has one brother and he is currently married to his co-actor Shahidah Omar and they have one daughter together. He loves sports and he is a fan of sports cars. There is no much online about his dating life before he got married and looks like he had very few girlfriends. Despite his popularity and media attention he has managed to keep his relationship and family away from the media attention. He was married in 2004 to Shahidah and together with their daughter they are living together with close rand happy relationship.
