She was born in Queensland. Her father was an airport firefighter. Her father was a very supportive of her acting career. She has a brother who is taking up a course to be a pastor. Her acting interest took speed, when she won annual Dolly Cover girl title in 1988. She started modeling at the age of 17 and started travelling, around Europe. She once took home a puppy but was not able to take care of it properly. She was engaged to Chris Hardwick, comedian and TV host. Later, the engagement was called off and her wedding with Gabriel Macht took place in 2004. There were several rumors about why the engagement was called off. Neither Chris nor Jacinda commented on any of those rumors. Some say that she was in a relationship with Gabriel while being engaged and some say that the engagement was called off way before their relationship. There is no concrete proof for either statement. Jacinda and Gabriel have two children together. They have starred together in many projects. In 2009, she became an US citizen.

Her married life is smooth and without any signs for divorce. Neither of them has shared any marital problems in public. She has kept her marital life and her relationship with Gabriel very secret from media. The same goes for her net worth too. It is assumed that her marital life is smooth and there is no chance of separation or divorce in near future. Jacinda has a pilot license and she is very interested in flying and sky diving. Career

She started her career with modeling. She worked for Strom Modeling Agency and worked with Elle MacPherson. She had a successful career as a model and got bored with the work. Then, she quit modeling to try her luck in acting. Her acting biography would start from the year 1995. After many years of modeling, she had her first TV appearance in 2005 in The Real World: London of MTV. She attended an academy for British American drama in Oxford and then landed in a role in Campfire Tales in 1997. She was easily able to get into Hollywood with Urban Legands: The Final Cut. This was her first movie in Hollywood but her breakthrough came with Human Stain. She starred in a few short films too. Some notable movies are Poseidon, Namesake, Last Kiss, School for Scoundrels, Middle Men, Matching Jack and many others. She is currently starring in a movie called So B it as Rudy Franklin.

Her first notable TV appearance is in Wind on Water as a recurring role. She then took up many TV series as recurring roles and main roles. She is currently starring in Bloodline as Diana Rayburn.
