With enough fabricating experience and numerous examples to showcase in her portfolio, she was considered to be the perfect candidate to host Xtreme 4x4 for four years.

Later in 2008, Combs decided to leave Xtreme 4x4 and pursue a career in hosting other television programs. By 2011, Combs was recording for AOL’s Autoblog show. She appeared as a host in many shows like Mythbusters and Overhaulin’. She worked for popular television programs on the TLC network and the Discovery channel.

Combs participated in a number of racing events and was successful on quite a few occasions. She is passionate about cars and has the technical experience and knowledge to excel in the auto racing field. Combs participated in racing car championships where she drove cars at high speeds. She often broke land speed records and set new records both on personal and national levels.

Some of her most notable victories are the 2014 Ultra 4 Stampede 1st Legends Class, the 2014 Ultra 4 National Championship 1st Spec Class, and the 2016 Ultra 4 King of the Hammers 1st EMC Modified Class. On the Autoblog site, she pulled no punches when talking about her ability, “I am the fastest woman on four wheels. I hold a land speed record of 398 mph with a top speed of 440 mph. I am an Ultra 4 [Unlimited 4-Wheel Drive Racing series] National Champion. I am the first Queen of the Hammers. I am a two-time podium finisher at the Baja 1000. Oh, and I'm a top 10 finisher at the Rally of the Gazelles.”
