Maberly’s television career began with a prominent role in the 1996 miniseries Gulliver’s Travels. In 1997, she appeared in the television dramas Gobble and Mothertime. She followed this with a role in the 1999 comedy Don’t Eat the Neighbours and starred in The Last of the Blonde Bombshells in 2000, alongside Judi Dench.
