After a successful rookie season, Block rode into the new 2006 rally season with the new Vermont Sportscar Subaru WRX STi. He also competed in the Rally America National Championship and finished second overall. Even though he didn’t win the whole thing as first place, getting second was still impressive because he was a new driver. Block looked to be a promising prospect that would keep getting better with more driving experience.
In 2008, Block participated in the World Rally championship, Rally Mexico and Rally New Zealand. Three years after his debut, Block was already participating in rallies outside of the United States. His performances were opening eyes around the rally racing world. Other countries were excited to have him compete in their events.
In 2009, Ken appeared on the popular TV show Top Gear. He also made a viral video for Youtube known as Gymkhana 2 in 2009. He made the video with his good friend Rob Dyrdek. The video was a huge hit with internet viewers because it showed Ken doing amazing stunts with his car. In 2010, Ken participated in the World Rally Championship on behalf of the Monster World Rally Team.
During the Shakedown stage of the 2011 Rally De Portugal, he rolled down his Ford Fiesta RS WRC and suffered a bad injury. He had to be hospitalized because of the accident. In 2015, Ken decided to put more focus on Hoonigan and announced to concentrate more on the World Rally Championship instead of smaller events.

In his entire career he competed for the Hoonigan Racing Division, Monster World Rally Team and M-Sport World Rally Team. His very first rally was the 2007 Rally Mexico and his last was the 2014 Rally Spain.

Kenneth Block is an enthusiastic lover of extreme sports. Apart from his passion for sports, he is also a successful business man who founded DC shoes and Hoonigan. Block is also associated with Dave Mirra because of the X Games XIV competition. He married his first wife, Tracy Montgomery in 1999. She is a famous writer but their marriage sadly ended in divorce. There are no concrete details on why their marriage didn’t last. It is speculated that Tracy could no longer deal with Ken’s extreme stunts. She was always worried what would happen to him and the stress for damaging her well being. She also did not like that Ken would travel so much around the world for his competitions while she sat at home. Ken was able to find love after Tracy is now happily married to his current wife, Lucy.
