Max Giorgio Choa Minghella was born in Hampstead, London, England. He is the son of choreographer Carolyn Choa. His father is the late Oscar-winning director, Anthony Minghella. His sister Hannah Minghella also works in the film industry. His father was British and of Italian descent. His mother was born in Hong Kong but her bloodline is half Chinese and smaller amounts of mixed white and South Asian ancestry.
Max is a former member of the National Youth Theatre which increase his interest in acting. He went to college at Columbia University from 2005 to 2009.
Acting Career
Max’s list of acting credits include The Internship, The Ides of March, and The Social Network. He also starred alongside famous actress Blake Lively in the cult favorite 'Elvis & Anabelle'. He appeared opposite popular actresses Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood in the film known as 'Into The Forest'.
