Born on November 11, 1973, in Baltimore, Maryland, Mellissa got introduced to the world of NFL by her eye surgeon father who used to treat NFL patients occasionally. Except that, she was not involved in sports in her childhood. However, she was only interested in sports back then.

Foreign Affairs and Spanish graduate from the University of Virginia (member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority), Melissa Stark career begun when she joined Baltimore located WMAR-TV as the assignment desk intern at the age of 18. After that, she continued her learning process joining the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather as a news intern at the age of 20. At the age of 21, Mellissa started working for the Sportscenter.

Now fast forwarding to 2016, she enjoys a polished resume that every young journalist will die for. She has been associated with many reputed institution in the past including WMAR-TV (intern), CBS (intern), University of Virginia's Coach's TV Show (reporter and production assistant), ESPN( host, investigative sports journalist, sportscaster, contributor and on-site host), ABC sports (lead sideline reporter, reporter, guest-host and co-host), NBC News and Sports (National correspondent, reporter, interviewer and anchor), and nevertheless NFL (field reporter,  reporter and host).

Importantly, Melissa has covered diverse range of  sports in her long career, including  MLB, NHL, golf, NCCA Basketball, Monday Night NFL, skating, and many more.

Known for her sharp looks, strong academic profile and point on reporting skills, Mellissa rarely makes huge communication errors. However, she invited load of criticism recently when she introduced Grammy nominated artist Aloe Blacc by the hilarious terms "Nommy Graminated".  

Now moving on to her physical configuration, she is not a tall woman with the height of 5 feet and 4 inches. Impressively, she enjoys a slim well proportioned body (body measurements: 34-26-35 inches). Nevertheless, she is especially appreciated for her shapely legs and appealing face.  

Talking about her relationship status, she is married to her boyfriend turned husband Michael Lilly, a bond trader, since 2001. From what we have heard, she currently resides in Rumson, New jersey  with her husband and four children.

Inspiringly, her fans appreciate her for balancing her personal life with her professional one. Ironically, she was balancing busy family life, taking care of children as a full time mom and maintaining a romantic relationship with husband when the NFL offer chipped in.
