His record at Oregon remains at 116-55 and is the most dominating football coach in Oregon's history. During his coaching stint, he drove Oregon to 12 postseason appearances and six bowl triumphs; a portion of two Pacific-10 Conference titles, a school-record 11 successes, and No. 2 national positioning in 2001.
