He completed his schooling from Isidore Newman School in Louisiana and he later enrolled himself in Louisiana State University. There is no information available regarding the profession of his parents. It is known that his childhood was spent in Louisiana with his parents and he always participated in track and field events since school. Odell was also fond of Basketball but he later decided to make his career in Football.

Odell started his career in the school itself and later when he got in University, he started playing for the college team as well. In 2014, he was signed by New York Giants and he later signed a contract with them. The same year after signing the contract he received a hamstring injury and he had to miss the training camp because of the same.

It is known that he has a big hand size and because of this, he was able to make a catch using only three of his fingers. During all these years his career stats kept on improving. Even though he suffered two major injuries, his performance was left un-impacted.

In 2015, his performance was again amazing but it was also reported that NFL suspended Beckham for a game because of safety violations. Later in 2016, he was also fined for 12,154 dollars for a celebration during the match with Cowboys. 

In 2016, he secured 10th position on NFP Top 100 Players of 2016 list. He is known to be an amazing player and the position surely satisfies his claims of being one of the best players.

Odell was engaged to Erica Mendez. She lives in Texas and it was reported that the couple had been in a relationship since 2010. Later in 2014, Odell was a part of major controversy as Erica came forward and reported that Odell cheated on her with two strippers she also accused Odell of having a love child. The news came at a time when Odell signed a contract with Giants for 10.4 Million Dollars.

But later in a press interview, Odell claimed that he had never been engaged and he doesn’t even know who Erica is. It is not known if he said the truth or not but the news created a major controversy against Odell. There was no investigation conducted in this matter but his fans were outraged but the matter was later dissolved with time.
