Olga Kurylenko, a French actress and model of Ukrainian origin, was born on November 14, 1979, in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, then part of the Ukrainian SSR, USSR (now Ukraine). Her father was Ukrainian, and her mother, Marina Alyabysheva, an art teacher, was of Russian and Belarusian descent. Olga's parents divorced when she was three, and she was raised by her mother.
