Paget Valerie Brewster was born on March 10, 1969, in Concord, a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Galen and Hathaway Brewster and has one younger brother, Ivan. Raised in Massachusetts, Brewster later moved to New York City, where she briefly studied at the Parsons School of Design. However, she chose to pursue a career in acting, leaving college and relocating to San Francisco to take acting classes. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Brewster first appeared on television as the host of a late-night talk show called The Paget Show, which aired for approximately 65 episodes. She gained wider recognition for her guest appearance on the hit sitcom Friends, portraying Kathy, the charming and quirky girlfriend of Joey, and later Chandler.
