The right handed player played the AAA hockey in the QMJHL, in 2001 in assist with the popular Sanite Foy Gouveneurs. Later he played the A hockey with the Seminaire St Francois Blizzard.

In his first season as a member of the sports team, he got an opportunity to play for the NHL Youngsters game in Minnesota. In that phase, he has played in about 71 games and altogether he grabbed thirty nine points. This also opened the door to be 2001 , All start weekend.

In the year 2006 to 2007, he had hit to make 22 goals which is indeed a big number. Then in the year 2007 and 2008 , he made 3 goals in the initial ten games he played. Thus he was selected for the seventh player award by the Boston Bruins.
