Rachelle Lefevre is a Canadian actress and has appeared in both American and Canadian movies and TV shows. She was born on Feb 1st, 1979 in Montreal, Quebec. Rachelle attended a private high school called the Centennial Academy. She later studied creative arts at Dawson College before studying Theater for two summers at Walnut Hill School in Natick, Massachusetts. She then enrolled for a degree in education and literature at McGill University but she never finished the same since she got involved in the world associated with movies and TV shows.

Rachelle had a stroke of luck when she was working as a waitress in a Sushi bar. A Canadian TV producer who was a regular customer overheard Rachelle's thoughts about her acting aspirations. He gave her first audition for a role in the sitcom Student Bodies but she could not land the role. But that changed the things and eventually she landed a role in a Canadian TV series Bog Wolf on Campus in the year 1999.

Rachelle appeared in the role of a teenage girl Stacey Hanson in the TV Show and her character was the love interest of the protagonist. Her character is also the most popular in the school. She has appeared only in the first season of the show.

Rachelle got the big break when she was chosen to play a role in the movie based on Vampire, Twilight which was a book adaptation of the same name. She was extremely overwhelmed when she landed that role and she also mentioned that she was obsessed with vampires after she had read the book Dracula when she was 14 years old. She described her character in the film as pure evil, malice and feline.

Rachelle was overwhelmed for the adulation she received for her role and she was a frequent face during the movie promotions. She also met fans and signed autographs for them. But unfortunately she did not reprise the role from the third instalment due to scheduling conflicts. She said that she was extremely saddened for dropping her. Fans also did not take it happily and "Bring Back Rachelle" became a top Twitter trend in July 2009.

She has appeared in many more movies and TV Shows. They include the films Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was directed by George Clooney, Hatley High, Pure and TV shows such as Undressed, Charmed, Bones and also in the popular TV show How I Met Your Mother for a single episode.

On the personal front, Rachelle is not yet married, but if the sources are to be believed, she is in a relationship with a guy called Chris Crary who is a contestant on reality TV show "Top Chef".
