Jannero Pargo

Thirty-Six year old Jannero Pargo, born on October 22nd, 1979, is a professional basketball player. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Pargo is a Native American. From a young age, he had a vivid interest in Basketball. It was this active interest that prompted him to continue playing collegiately in 2000 for his college Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas. Later, he graduated to the University of Arkansas where he continued playing basketball & nurtured the dream of becoming a professional Basketball player. Upon graduating in 2002, he devoted himself to the game & by hard work he was selected to play for Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA.

Playing a total of 47 games & drawing an annual salary of $1.23 million, Pargo played for LA Lakers till 2004. Upon being released by LA Lakers, he signed a contract with Toronto Raptors, with whom he played only 5 games. In 2003, he was signed on by Chicago Bulls with whom he played till 2006. With 102 games, he has played the highest number of games for Chicago Bulls & also achieved his career high of 13.5 points in a game. After parting with Chicago Bulls, Pargo started playing for New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets in 2008.

His career began to shine ever since he was sent as a replacement for teammate Chris Paul, where he scored an average of 10.3 points in 12 playoff games while hitting the famous 3-pointers in the 7th game of the Western Conference against the Spurs. In the 2008-2009 NBA session, the Russian League team, Dynamo Moscow signed Pargo for a one-year contract amounting to $3.8 million. However, in January 2009, he secured a buyout from Dynamo Moscow & signed on with the Greek League club called Olympiacos Piraeus. Pargo secured an average of 3.5 points & 1.4 assists in the Euroleague & then he was released from the contract.

According to his biography, Pargo then returned to Chicago Bulls in July 2009, where he had a sudden knee injury which kept him from giving his 100%. After a few games with the Bulls, he signed on with New Orleans Hornet but due to his slow recovery & poor form he was let go soon.

Jannero Pargo carries a well built, athletic personality which has been the cause of many rumours including him being Gay. However, the saddening turn came with the news of his divorce with his wife Malaysia aka Laquisha in 2014. They were happily married in 2006 & had 7-year old and 3-year old twins. Malaysia also featured on the Reality Series Basketball Wives L.A. until the divorce. The 8-year marriage went sour due to the news of Malaysia's infidelity, which resulted in separation in December 2012 followed by divorce in 2014.

Pargo's net worth is estimated at $4.5 million & a $2 Million in salary. However, with a sum of $15380 for child support, $7500 for spousal support & the $25000 for his ex-wife's attorney fee has left quite a deep hole in his pocket.
