Born on November 13, 1973, in California, Jordan Bridges is the son of actor Beau Bridges and Julie Landfield. He is part of a well-known acting family that spans three generations. His grandfather was the acclaimed actor Lloyd Bridges, and his grandmother was Dorothy Dean Bridges. Jeff Bridges and Cindy Bridges are his uncle and aunt, respectively. Jordan has four siblings: Casey Bridges, Dylan Bridges, Jeffrey Bridges, and Emily Bridges.
He spent most of his childhood in Los Angeles and attended Oakwood School. He later earned a major in theatre and a minor in literature from Bard College in New York. During his junior year, he studied abroad at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in England, which further honed his performing skills. Over the years, he has taken on a range of supporting roles in films, including Adam in Happy Campers (2001), Spencer Jones in Mona Lisa Smile (2003), Brad in Turn the River (2007), Marty in A Good Funeral (2009), Mino in Crew 2 Crew (2012), Sonar Operator in Phantom (2013), and Earl in Rushlights (2013). One of his most recognizable film roles came in 2011 when he portrayed a Labor Department lawyer in Clint Eastwood’s biographical drama J. Edgar.
