Michael was born to parents, Michael and Evelyn. Along with him, his parents have five children. The first one is Toni and then Michael was born. He was named after his father. He has three younger sisters, Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar. He was raised religiously by his father, who was a reverend.

He attended choirs and attended religious tours. His parents divorced but there are no details as to how Michael took the divorce and separation. His father later remarried and started to live with his new wife in Baltimore. Michael’s relationship with his father’s second wife is not known to public. He never spoke about his father’s second marriage in public settings.

Career

Though his career like his sisters, he did not continue on that path. Michael started his career along with his sisters as a part of The Braxtons. He was a part of many songs when they performed as a group. He also appeared in a few episodes of the Braxton Family Values during season one.
