Zoë Kravitz is an American actress, singer, and model known for her work in film and television as well as for being the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet.
Zoë Isabella Kravitz was born on December 1, 1988, in Venice, Los Angeles, California. Her parents divorced when she was young, after which she lived primarily with her mother, Lisa Bonet, in Topanga Canyon. Kravitz has two younger half-siblings through her mother's marriage to actor Jason Momoa: a half-sister, Lola Iolani Momoa, and a half-brother, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.
She attended Miami Country Day School before transferring to Rudolf Steiner School in Manhattan, New York. Kravitz later enrolled at the State University of New York at Purchase to study acting, though she eventually left to pursue acting full-time.
Zoë Kravitz began her professional acting career at age 19 with a role in the 2007 romantic comedy No Reservations.
