Personal Life

Bo drew the attention of John Derek who was already a married man that was 30 years older than her. They started dating and developed a passionate love affair. John feel so in love with the beautiful Bo that he decided to get a divorce from his actress wife, Linda Evans.

Bo and John got married on June 10, 1976. At the time of their marriage, she was only 18. She was very young but she really enjoyed being with John and felt that he was the perfect partner to spend her life with. He was the only person that motivated her to pursue an acting career. He recognized that she had a really unique look that would do well in the acting industry. Even though she was raw with acting abilities, her looks alone could get her acting jobs. All she had to do was appear on screen with a few lines that would be enough for her to win the audience because she was so beautiful. Bo appreciated the trust and faith John had in her. She was happy that the man she chose to marry was also her biggest supporter.

Unfortunately, John died on May 22, 1988 after twelve years of marriage to Bo. Bo was happy that she got spend 12 years with him and was fond of the memories that they built together. She later got into a relationship with actor, John Corbett but nothing would match the love she had with her first marriage.

She is a regular hunter and proud member of the NRA. In 2004, she joined the Republican National convention to support the Iraq war and president George W. Bush. She supported George W. Bush in the 2000 election, where she became helpful to raise funds for his campaign. Some of her fans were disappointed that she would support a republican but others understood why she became conservative as she aged.
