Ursula Andress was born in the Swiss canton of Berne on March 19, 1936. She was one of six children in a strict German Protestant family. To discover her identity, she wanted to investigate the world outside Switzerland. In one incident, she was found by Interpol for fleeing from her all-inclusive school at the young age of 17 years old.
The pretty young lady looked for some kind of employment as an art model in Rome before finding her niche in acting.
Career
Ursula became a famous Bond girl after her first appearance in the Bond Franchise. She was so popular with fans, she later starred as Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale
Personal Life
At the age of 19, she met and engaged in extramarital relations with film icon John Derek, who left his significant other Pati Behrs and two children for Ursula despite the fact that she spoke no English at the time. In 1957, they got married, and the new bride put her acting aspirations on hold for a couple of years.
