It was reported by Ebony Magazine this week that Queen Latifah and her longtime partner, Eboni Nichols are expecting a baby, as Eboni has been spotted with a full baby bump on display in pictures posted on Instagram. Sources claim that the couple, as well as starting a family together, are also engaged. Fans of Latifah are hoping that the rumors are true because the star has been struggling with the recent death of her mother, Rita Owens. Latifah had a very close relationship with her mother and referred to her as “the love of my life.” Latifah said of her mother: “She had struggled with a heart condition for many years and her battle is now over,” she said. “I am heartbroken but know she is at peace. Thank you for your kindness, support and respect for our privacy at this time. Much Love, Dana Owens (aka Queen Latif‎ah), forever Rita Owens’ daughter.” Latifah also told E!News last year that she thought she had gotten partying out of her system and was in the right place to welcome a baby into the world saying “I’m good now. I think I’m ready.”

Eboni Nichols continues to be in high demand. She has appeared as a principal or been credited as a choreographer in over a dozen films. In addition, Nichols has helped to choreograph over forty different television programs and nearly thirty commercials. In addition, she has set the dance routines for the live shows and music videos for some of the world's most outstanding musical talent. Eboni Nichols once mentioned that she never believed her dancing talent would change her life, but it is apparent to all that it most assuredly has. Eboni's career has taken her from a backup dancer to a noted choreographer. Eboni was also recently given the honor of being elected to the Television Academy's Board of Governors. She is also Co-Governor of the Choreography Peer Group of the Television Academy and fellow choreographer Mandy Moore. Eboni is currently professionally represented by Bloc Talent Agency, Inc., located in Los Angeles, California.
