While Sharon has had her troubles in her past relationships, it has certainly not hurt her career. Sharon Leal has had a very successful career in movies and television, with numerous roles in both. 

She is most known for her roles in the smash hits Why Did I Get Married, and Why Did I Get Married Too, both produced by Tyler Perry. She also has been in numerous other Tyler Perry produced movies as well. Another one of her most notable movie roles is the role of Michelle Morris in Dreamgirls. This movie was a box office hit and she was nominated for many awards for her role. 

Sharon also has a very extensive television acting career. Her acting career began with a role as Dahlia Crede in the CBS daytime soap opera Guiding Light. This role, which she held for years, and starred in over 200 episodes, really allowed her to show her acting skill. This eventually led to Sharon joining the Broadway musical of Rent. Which she eventually went on a national tour with. 

In 2004, Sharon joined the the hit series Boston Public which aired on Fox's prime time. The show centered around a public high school and the inner dealings of the students and faculty. It was a major hit for Fox and the show aired for four seasons. Leal then went on to co-star along side Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy in the box office hit Dreamgirls. This film was also a film adaptation of the Broadway Musical. Following a string of movie roles, Sharon went back to television and had numerous reoccurring roles in various television shows. She had a role as Vanessa Lodge in the television series Hellcats, but it was cancelled in 2011. Most recently, Sharon has a reoccurring role as Miss Martian in the CW hit show Supergirl. She also has been guest starring on television shows The Good Doctor, and Instinct. 

Sharon Leal has a very successful career behind her, and she continues to make strides moving full steam ahead in her career today.
