Even though her parents are now divorced, Simone maintains a special relationship with her father. In 2015, Simone’s father announced that his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, whom he had been dating for eight years, was expecting a baby. Although many people expected Simone to show resentment, she was actually very supportive of her father’s relationship and appeared to be excited about the birth of a sibling. On December 16, 2015 Simone welcomed to the family a baby sister named Jasmine.

Simone Alexandra was Dwayne Johnson’s first concern when he divorced his first wife, Dany Garcia. Although it was friendly separation, and there was really nothing bad to say about it, the press started to spread the rumor that Dwayne was cheating on his wife with his current girlfriend and that is why the couple divorced.

When Dwayne speaks about his daughter, he does so with true love and compassion. During an interview about Simone, Dwayne said that when he became a father, he promised his baby girl that he will always be by her side and support her. He insists that a father’s role is to support his child and provide love, affection and protection. He swore to his daughter that he will protect her with all his powers and nothing bad will happen to her as long as he stands by her side.

This confession brought tears in the eyes of many parents who see him a hard man. He insisted that even though he may be scary with his appearance, it has nothing to do with the job of being a father. People should not comment based on his looks, but rather, on his attitude towards his children.
