Luis Armand Garcia also appeared as Max on the TV Series “Freddie” in 2006, starring Freddie Prinze Jr., and Chevrolet hired him for publicity to appear in TV commercials.
Other Interests
Luis Armand is known to appear at charity events. The Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Heart Association have captured him engaged and giving back to the community, but ultimately he decided to make a foundation of his own. The Hands on Horses association was created to help American Foster Children, and the most of his charity time is invested on this project.
Luis Armand has other artistic skills. He designed the “Viva Mickey” statue with proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation that the Walt Disney Company selected to tour across the country. This was part of a collection of Mickey Mouse designs titled “Celebrate Mickey: 75 InspEARations” made by other celebrities including John Travolta, Ellen DeGeneres, Ben Affleck, Wayne Brady, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Hanks, Tony Hawk, Janet Jackson, Star Jones, Sir Elton John, Raven, and many others. This collection was auctioned for charity right after the tour.
Personal Life
Many child actors get involved in car accidents and drunken scandals and Luis Armand Garcia is no exception. He was arrested in 2012 for disorderly conduct at his privately owned home. This happened after neighbor’s complaint of a loud party. He was found drunk and just immediately arrested without incident and later released.
Luis has a young son, Max, affectionally named after his recurring roles, with fashion designer Tyra Taylor Simmons. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his family. He has chosen not to participate actively on social media or publicly disclose his net worth. There have been no mentions of a return to television.
